The financial aid experts at Access Applied are conducting free “Train the FAFSA Helpers” webinars for school counselors, non-profit counselors and other volunteers who help students and parents complete the FAFSA.
These interactive webinars will allow participants to engage with the presenters and participate in live Q & A. A recorded version will be available as well.
This comprehensive training will review the FAFSA, from the Login page to the Confirmation page, and address all the questions that typically confuse students and parents – especially those questions that are of particular importance to students from low-income and middle-income backgrounds.
The Presenters
Jim Briggs
Jim has provided FAFSA and CSS PROFILE training to tens-of-thousands of college financial aid professionals throughout the US for over 35 years. He is a recognized expert in college costs and financial aid and has spoken at hundreds of local, state and national financial aid conferences. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Money Magazine and the NY Times on financial aid and income tax issues. Jim’s business and tax background enabled him to provide specialized consulting and training services to schools using the CSS PROFILE, where he was retained by many to evaluate complex business and personal tax issues.
David Charlow
