Course Title: Sources of Funding for College-Estimating Family Resources
Intended Audience: College bound students and their families
Course Overview: Calculating the amount you are able to pay – or willing to pay – is the critical first step in the process of identifying schools that will be affordable for your family. This course has three lessons; Understanding Parent Resources, Understanding Student Resource, and exploring Other Resources. Each lesson has several topics that help the student explore and understanding various sources of funding that might be available when first considering colleges.
Course Objectives: Ability to complete a preliminary family resources worksheet, become familiar with various sources of funding for colleges.
