General Information
When providing estimates for Cost of Attendance (i.e. Sticker Price), schools include travel to reflect the fact that most students have go back and forth between school and home a minimum of two times. Travel expenses vary greatly based on the distance from school and the actual number of trips home during the academic year.
So, ignore the figures provided by the school since they are only general estimates – which are typically based on two round trips – and calculate your own estimated travel figure.
Important Questions
1. How many trips will you make between the school and home during the year?
2. How will you travel? Car, plane, train, bus, with a friend?
